To ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all members, we have established this Membership Code of Conduct. By joining Cynsus, you agree to abide by the following rules:
Cynsus is a non-commercial space intended for authentic networking and collaboration. Soliciting or promoting products, services, events, or groups is prohibited unless explicitly approved by community administrators. For sponsorship or advertising opportunities, please contact us directly.
We are committed to maintaining a harassment-free environment. Any form of harassment, including but not limited to verbal abuse, sexual harassment, or discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation, is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, up to and including membership termination.
Cynsus is a diverse community with members from varying backgrounds and experiences. We encourage open discussion but expect all interactions to remain respectful and free from personal attacks or abusive language.
If you register for office hours or in-person events and cannot attend, notify us at least 72 hours in advance to allow others to take your spot. Failure to provide notice for two or more events may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the community.
Discussions in Cynsus spaces should be professional and contribute to a safe, inclusive atmosphere. Religious and political discussions are prohibited. Degrading comments based on race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. Violators may have their posts removed and risk losing their membership.

Unsolicited requests for job referrals or resume reviews from members without an established relationship are not allowed. Networking should prioritize meaningful interactions over transactional requests. Violations of this policy may lead to disciplinary action.
Cynsus is a private space where members can share ideas and collaborate. Members must respect the confidentiality of all discussions and materials shared within the community.
Members must comply with all applicable laws, including those related to intellectual property, data privacy, and antitrust.
If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to community administrators immediately. Reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly.
Members found in violation of the Code of Conduct will receive a written warning specifying the rule violated and actions needed to rectify the situation.
A second violation will result in a written warning outlining the continued breach and consequences of further non-compliance, including potential removal
Continued violations or severe misconduct may result in immediate, permanent removal from Cynsus without a refund of membership fees
Members who cancel event registration at least 48 hours in advance may receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for refunds.
Refund policies for additional purchases will be stated in the product or service description. All cancellation or refund requests must be submitted in writing to cydney@cynsus.io.
Cynsus reserves the right to modify this Code of Conduct and associated policies as necessary. Members will be notified of significant changes.
