Cynsus Story

I got the idea for Cynsus after attending AfroTech in 2022. I left inspired by the amazing black founders I met and wanted to find a way to support and work with them. Around this time alarming stats started to come out around diverse founders and funding. I thought, maybe I can build something that highlights who, what, and where diverse founders are and start making connections. So I started reaching out to founders, interviewing them and figuring out where I can help. During my time in business school, I was paired up with venture capitalists and raised my concerns about funding and connections for diverse founders, and told them about what I wanted to build with Cynsus.They didn't seem to think there was an issue. This lit a fire in me. In building Cynsus, I have become the founder I want to help. I'm on a mission to ensure diverse founders thrive. Let's do this!
